Vacation Bible School at the Church of Christ Uniting is one of the most exciting and joy-filled weeks of our year! Each summer, children from our church and community come together for a week of faith, fun, and adventure as we explore God’s love through interactive learning and engaging activities.
What Is VBS?
VBS is a week-long program designed especially for children, offering creative ways to learn about the Bible and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Every year follows a unique theme that guides our storytelling, music, crafts, games, and lessons. Children experience Scripture in hands-on, age-appropriate ways that help them understand how much God loves them.
What to Expect
Throughout the week, children enjoy:
- Daily Bible stories and lessons that bring Scripture to life
- High-energy music and worship
- Crafts and creative projects
- Outdoor games and recreational activities
- Science stations, snacks, and team-building fun
- A welcoming environment where every child is known, valued, and safe
Our VBS volunteers are fully trained in our church’s Safe Sanctuaries practices to ensure a secure and nurturing experience for all children.

VBS is open to children of our church and the wider community. Ages and registration details vary by year, and all information—including dates and themes—is announced each spring.
