On July 1, 2024 the Richfield Springs Church of Christ Uniting was appointed a new Pastor. We are excited to introduce Reverend Christine Mitchell to our church. Rev. Mitchell has been serving the Honeoye Falls United Methodist Church in the Rochester, NY area for the past 5 years. While at HFUMC, she was able to grow their youth program, bring a modern twist to their church services, and create a discipleship making program.
We are excited to have Rev. Mitchell with us, and look forward to seeing how her gifts will impact our church and our community. Outside of the church, Rev. Mitchell is the sitting Lt. Governor of the Finger Lakes Division of the New York District of Kiwanis International. Rev. Mitchell also sits as the current 2023-2024 NYD Board President, and is a member of the Honeoye Falls-Lima, Mendon Kiwanis Club. Rev. Mitchell has a passion for serving and helping children and youth feel empowered whether it is through the church or outside of the church.
In addition to being our pastor, and her involvement in Kiwanis, Rev. Mitchell is also the Upper New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church’s Safe Sanctuaries Chairperson. She leads to a team who’s sole purpose is to keep those who are most vulnerable in our midst safe. We are blessed to have Pastor Chris with us!
