Confirmation at the Church of Christ Uniting is an important step in a young person’s spiritual journey. Rooted in both United Methodist and Presbyterian (PCUSA) tradition, Confirmation provides an opportunity for youth to explore their faith, ask deep questions, and begin to claim for themselves the promises made on their behalf at baptism.
In a safe, Christ-centered environment, teenagers learn the foundations of Christian belief, engage with Scripture, discover the history and practices of our Methodist–Presbyterian heritage, and reflect on what it means to follow Jesus in their daily lives. At the end of this journey, youth may choose to make a public profession of faith and become confirmed members of the church.
Confirmation classes are offered periodically, typically for youth ages 12–15. If your child is interested in joining a future Confirmation class, please contact the church office for upcoming dates and details.
