What Is a Disciple?
A disciple is someone who:
- Professes faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- Seeks ongoing transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit
- Welcomes accountability in order to grow spiritually and missionally
- Engages boldly with the world, dismantling all forms of oppression and uplifting marginalized communities
- Proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and action
- Joins God’s mission by helping to make and nurture other disciples
